X-Men Arcade Coming to Xbox Live

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was the first Konami arcade classic to be brought to XBLA. Now X-Men the Arcade is coming. I spent so much money on this arcade back in the day. I still remember classic lines like"Nothing can stop the blob". Is it worth buying. Yes and no. It's not that long of a game but for classic beat'em up with your Xbox live buddies you can't go wrong with this title. No date released or price but if I had to guess it'll cost about 800 to 1200 MS Points. That is strictly my guess.  Here the old school trailer.

Halo Reach Kills Halo 3 In Game Played

Bungie released that Halo Reach online concurrent users 65% over Halo 3. Over 70 million games have already been played. This is huge since the game was only released on Sept. 14th.  I have finally got my hands on the Halo Reach and it is definitely an improved game. I'm not suprised at all at the sales figures. X23 the clone of Wolverine will be in Marvel vs. Capcom 3. This game looks really good and I can't wait for it to come out. I love the new graphic style and looks to have the same great gameplay. Looks to be a really great game. X23 isn't in the game but if you wanna get use to the style of the game get your hands on Marve vs. Capcom 2. You can get it on Xbox live for 1200 points. How to Fix Wireless Adapter for Xbox 360

Here are some very easy steps to get your Xbox 360 adapter light to come so it will connect. This is very easy to do and wouldn’t take much of your time at all
1. Turn off your Xbox 360 console and unplug your Xbox 360 wireless adapter from the console. Plug your Xbox 360 wireless adapter back in the back on your console and turn it back on. If I still don’t light up to indicate that it’s on got to step 2.
2. Now plug your Xbox 360 wireless adapter in the front of the console. (USB Ports on front panel)If it doesn’t work in either port try step 3.
3. Turn off your Xbox 360 console, and unplug your Xbox 360 wireless adapter from the back.
4. Turn your console back on and press the button in the middle of your Xbox 360 controller.
5. Scroll over to Settings and select System settings
6. Select Network Settings. You should see a screen showing your connection to Xbox Live. Select Configure Network.
7. In Configure Network scroll over to Additional settings, and select Restore to Factory Defaults at the bottom. It should ask you are sure you want to do this. Select yes.
8. Turn off your console. Plug back in your Xbox 360 wireless adapter in the back of your Xbox 360.
9. Turn console back on and check the light on your Xbox 360 wireless adapter
If your light comes on your issue with your Xbox 360 wireless adapter is solved. If it doesn’t your wireless adapter may need to be replaced. This can be done at Xbox.com. The process would be the same for both version of the wireless adapter.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

Don't know about you but from what I've seen thus far Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions is a game I'm varied interested in. Not that I believe this will be a team rated game, but the Spider-Man series of games are always decent. The only issue I've always had with the Spider-Man series is depth. After I've beat them there's nothing else to do with it. I'm gonna get focused on this one Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions for a sec. Looks like you get to be regular know Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2099, Ultimate Spider-Man(symbiote), and Spider-Man Noir. What I like so far is that the game mode changes depending on which one you are at the time. Amazing Spider-Man will be more of the traditional web slinging style. Ultimate Spider-Man will be like Amazing Spider-man, but using power, rage mode and symbiote to fight. Spider-Man Noir uses more of a Batman Arkham Asylum style with detective mode, and surprise fighting. Spider-Man 2099 really cool suite and huge futuristic city. Now back to what I said before about depth it sounds like a lot so far. I hope that I can get at least another hour or two of game play after story line is over. Here is a video of game play so far.

Install an Xbox 360 Controller on Your PC

Did you know that you can install your Xbox 360 controller to your PC? This can be done fairly easy with a little bit of time on your part. All you need is a wired Xbox 360 controller, a computer with windows, and the internet. Now I’ll let you in on the 3 steps to do this process.
1. First go to Microsoft.com and download the gaming software it’s completely free. You’ll need to do this so your controller will work on Windows computer. Select “Controller”, than Xbox 360 Controller for Windows, and finally your computers operating system and language. If you don’t know what you operating system is it can be found by going to “My Computer” icon and then click “Properties”.
2. Now start the file download by double clicking it. Once it downloads Windows will walk you through the process. This should be done in no time at all.
3. Plug your Xbox 360 controller into the USB port on your computer. My preference would be the USB port on the front of the computer if you have it for easy access. It doesn’t matter which one you use though they all work the same. Your Xbox 360 controller should light up when recognized by your computer.
That’s It! You’re good to go! Now its time to play your favorite computer games using your Xbox 360 .

I personally am pretty excited about a Hip-Hop type game coming out on the consoles. I’m a fan of the Rock Band series, but being a Hip-Hop head I want the same successful conversion. Kinect to sell 4 million in Q4 2010

Major game analyst came out with some big comments about Kinect. Stated that it will go quadruple platinum by year’s end. New Controller For Your Xbox 360

Xbox own Major Nelson recently put up a video on Youtube on a new Xbox 360 controller. This controller will feature a raising D-pad, and revised color scheme. No sign language for Kinect?

I had put up a blog post previously stating that Microsoft Kinect will be able to understand sign language, and even read lips. This is not the cause. Microsoft has filed a patent for a application with the ability to do this, but it will not be ready by the time Kinect ships out. Also has been stated that the cost would be too high. Kinect can read sign language?

Kinect the new motion camera for the Xbox 360 which is competing with the Nintendo Wii is stating that it will be able to recognise ASL(American Sign Language).  This according to a Kinect patent Microsoft filled recently. It will be able to input letters, words, and phases using the technology. Microsoft Kinect will be able to read lips, map toes, and watch you sleep...wow. Come from Atari to now I would have never believed this would be something where able to do in the gaming community. Need Help Installing Xbox Media Center. There are 5 simple steps to doing this. This is something that you have to do to get the most out of your Xbox 360. Without a doubt if your not using it your missing out on a whole other area of entertainment. You will need to have windows media center installed to your computer for this to work.
1. Start your Xbox 360 and go to your My Xbox tab.
2. Scroll all the way down to Windows media center and press A
3. It should tell you what you need to setup media center and give you some general info on this page. Highlight continue and press A
4. Write down the setup key and press continue.
5. Go to xbox.com/pcsetup. Here it should have the steps for what version of windows your using. All are really easy.

Xbox media center is on of the best tools on your Xbox 360. You can do multiple things with it. If you download movies you can stream all movies you download on your computer to your Xbox 360. This can also be done with all of your music. It can work as a DVR to record all of your favorite shows, and easily schedule using media center. Its time to set yourself apart and mod your Xbox360. We already talk about putting a chip in your Xbox360 so you can backup games, but today where going to talk about ways to mod your Xbox360. Mainly how to change the casing, and where can you get this stuff. There are several websites online to get this stuff. There's Extreme mods, Consoleshop,Consolesoure and many others. Those are some that are at the top of Google. Also a good place to get parts for repair for those of us who have opened are Xbox360 and voided are warranty. The cases usually cost around 50.00 american depending on what the case is made of. Usually its a plastic case. Also there are some additional option to quit your Xbox360, and ways to better vent it. What do the Red Rings of Death Errors Mean??

What do the "Red Rings of Death" errors mean. There are four common errors for the red rings of death. They all have a different amount of blinking lights, and they don't all mean that you have to send your Xbox360 in to be fixed. Some are so simple you set back and say "your kidding me?" Then of course there's the others where you have to send it back in to be fixed, or fix it yourself. Here is a complete guide to that at this site. I highly suggest you check it out. Here are the issues and what you can do to fix them.

1. One flashing red light- one flashing red light means there is a hardware failure. This usually happens when someone has flashed there Xbox360. This is away some play backup games. I have already talked about that process in my blog. Feel free to check it out for more info. It doesn't have to be caused from that though. If your  Xbox360 shows a error e71 turn off your Xbox360, remove hard drive, remove memory units, and remove all cables including power supply from wall. Plug back in all cables, hard drive, memory units, and power supply. This usually will fix the error(at least it did for me.) I've also been told you can reset your Xbox360 to default settings and it may fix the issue(didn't work for me). If it says e74 error you may need to send your Xbox360 since that error has a 3 year warranty, or use the link above to get your own manual on how to fix the red lights.
2. Two flashing red lights- This is caused from overheating of your Xbox360. If caught early there are steps you can take that are pretty simple. First make sure your Xbox360 doesn't have anything on top of it. Such as a DVD player, game cases, DVD cases etc. Also make sure its not in a enclosed space that retains heat. If it is overheating turn off your Xbox360 and let it cool down. There is a fan attachment that can be put on the back of your Xbox360. It can be found at amazon.com, and just about any department store. Thing about amazon.com is you maybe able to find it cheaper. Buy a can of air and spray it in the air vents to remove accumulated dust. make sure your not doing this with the can pointed down or in angle no liquid is blown inside. If none of the above works may need to contact support at xbox.com or get a repair manual to fix own your own.
3. Three flashing red lights- This means there is a hardware problem, or a issue with the power supply. If your power supply light is green remove from the back of your Xbox360, unplug from outlet, and remove outlet cord from power supply. Put back all connections firmly, and connect back to your Xbox360. If three flashing lights continue console may need to be sent for repairs your Flashing light guide may need to be used.  Issues with the power supply I'm doing a whole post on soon.
4. Four flashing red lights- This means your Xbox360 doesn't detect your AV cable.(the cords with the different colored ends) Try this turn off your Xbox360 and T.V. Disconnect the cord from the back of your Xbox360 and from the ports on the back of you T.V. Reconnect the cables back in the Xbox360 and the T.V. If that doesn't work trying using a different T.V. If problem remains try using different AV cable.

That is the usual issues for the Red Rings of Death errors, and as I stated many can be fixed without opening your Xbox360. If you have to do this to repair it I strongly suggest you get a repair guide that goes step by step with you on fixing the issue. You can get one here check it out. What Causes The "Most Hated" Red Rings of Death

What causes the Red Rings of Death? There are two really common reasons for this issue. One is your Xbox360 isn't get the right amount of power, and the second common issue is overheating. The issue of not enough power is a easy fix and you won't have to open your Xbox360 and lose your warranty with them. There are a couple of easy troubleshooting steps that can be taken to fix this issue.
1. Restart your Xbox360
2. If the issue remains check the cables in the back of your Xbox360 one could be lose cord. Make sure your Xbox360 is turned off and remove all cords. Also remove the power supply from the wall. At this time put all cords back in the proper place including the power supply. Plug the power supply back in ant turn on your Xbox360.
3. If that doesn't work repeat step 2, and also remove the hard drive and memory unit if you have one. Now plug back in your cords, and power supply back into the wall with out attaching the hard drive. If you don't receive the error again turn it off, remove the power supply from the wall. Reattach hard drive and memory unit plug power supply back in a turn on console.
4. If your still having issues check your surge protector. It may not allow for you Xbox360 to get the proper amount of power it needs.Turn off your Xbox360, and remove the power supply plug from the surge protector and plug it in directly into the wall outlet. If problem doesn't continue with it plug in directly into the wall than the issue is your surge protector.

These are some very simple steps I would suggest you take before opening your Xbox360, or sending it in for repairs and waiting 6 weeks or more to get it back. If you think it maybe overheating than turnoff your Xbox360, and let it cool. Then remove it from any closed in area that would hold in heat around. Here is a tip: don't put any other devices on top your Xbox360. Such as DVD players, game cases, movie cases etc. When you do this you cover the vents your Xbox360 can not breath properly. You couldn't either laying on your back with a pound of weight on your stomach. It also helps to have it in its standing position. Another tip: buy a can of air blow it in the vents to remove accumulated dust. That also works even better if the Xbox360 has been opened up. There are also issues that could be caused by your power supply alone that you may wanna check. I have another section on that in my blog. If problems persist this where you wanna contact Xbox360 support to try to get the issue fixed. If you wanna do it yourself I suggest this site. Complete step by step guides on how to fix the red rings of death. Also has great info on how to back up you Xbox360 games which can extend there life. *Warning* I've explained this before in my blog, I want to say it again. If you open your Xbox360 on your own you will lose the warranty. So make sure its worth it to you. Any questions be sure to comment.

Just read on the Xbox website that there's new bundle that comes with the New Xbox 360, Xbox 360 Kinect, and Kinect Adventures for 299.99 on November 4th. Kinect Adventures is a new game that works with Kinect where no controllers are needed it works all off of motion. Kinect Adventures has 20 different adventures on it.  The new Xbox 360 that comes with this bundle is a 4GB module with a black matte finish to distinguish it from the 250GB module with a black glossy finish. The Kinect will also be on sale with Kinect Adventures alone for 149.99. The Kinect should work with all existing Xbox 360 Consules. The new Xbox 360 4GB consule will be onsale alone on August 3rd for 199.99. The new Xbox 360 4GB consule  will come with the built in Wi-Fi N, and touch sensitive buttons. Is for Everthing4360 legit? Yes it is. When you see the YouTube videos and people saying its a its a fake that's not true. I'm going to give you the breakdown on how it all works. Everyting4360 is a site that offers alot of info for newbies and the ability to download xbox 360 games. Examples of info that Everything4360 offers would be how to fix the red rings of death without sending it in, how to copy the games to disk, what kind of disk can you use, where to get the mod chips you'll need, and much more. Now the complaint's you here about the site on the web. The one I hear the most is that you can download games for free without paying. This is true, but what can't you get for free on the Internet? Just cause you can get it for free doesn't mean you know how or where to get it. Like I already stated Everything4360 is perfect for newbies who don't have this info, or don't wanna do the work to learn how. They give you all the info to do this. So to make it plain and simple its not fake they do offer the info to copy the games, and the software to copy them. Much much more in information about the process. If your a person who has the know how to do all this then Everything4360 may not be for you, but if you won't all of it in one place its a great site. Check it out.

Can you backup Xbox 360 games?

Can you backup Xbox 360 games? Yes it can be done, but first I’d like to talk about the big questions I see on the net about it. Let’s start with the simplest question.
1. Is it legal- No I’m afraid it’s not? It is has been done for awhile now. Not sure how long but I do know that you could do it on the original Xbox, and add emulators to get all the games to the old systems as well as some of the best arcade games using the mame emulators. I personally had one and saved all my games to the system using a DVD burner I put in instead of the original disk drive. You could also expand the hard with any hard for desk top computers. Back on the subject it is illegal to backup your games just like it to copy DVDs and CDs.
2. Can you get in trouble? - Its illegal so of course you can. I don’t know anyone who’s had their house raided cause they download movies, games, or music but if caught I believe there are some hefty finds and you can do some jail time. The thing is the laws vary from country to country which can make it different depending on location. There’s a great article on ehow.com by Sarah Rigg that talks about the laws against downloading. Not going to touch more on this cause I think its strait forward.
3. Do I need to Modify my Xbox 360- Folks I’ve read through the internet and there is no way that I know that you can play backup Xbox 360 games without modifying you Xbox one way or the other. One way is to chip it. By saying that I mean you put chip in your Xbox that helps your Xbox read backup games. Another is to flash the drive. This you need a computer to do and will involve firmware. I believe it only works on 2 of the Xbox DVD drives the Samsung or the Hitachi. Both involve you opening up your Xbox which in turn your warranty will be lost, but that’s the chances you take to get free games.
4. Can I be banned- Yes you can. I don’t actually know anyone who has but you can be banned from Xbox live. What I did with my original Xbox was never hook it up to the internet to play on Xbox live. There are several websites and forums where you can get the info on how to make a game safe and where to download it. Not going to go into it on the blog post since my next post is going to be all about that subject.
